KIDS

We love all ages at GPS and our kids are no different. We offer Weekly Sunday school from September-May starting at 8:45. Our Sunday school program is for prek-5th grade. At Sunday School our kids learn a bible story for the week and interact with it through a craft/art or game time as well. We also love getting our kids together for summer camps at Lutherdale in Wisconsin and VBS usually in July. We long for all ages to deepen their faith and relational lives together.

YOUTH

At GPS, our 6th thru 8th grade youth attend Confirmation class twice per month, participate in quarterly service projects, and attend a yearly retreat. Confirmation students are expected to attend the 9 a.m. worship service with their family and then attend class from 10:30 a.m. 'til noon on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from September through May. Classes are a mix of large group lesson, games and small group time. The time is led by adult volunteers who have a passion for teaching our youth.

On the 2nd Sunday of each month, there will also be a fun fellowship event planned following class time. Time for lunch will be provided as well. Students are asked to bring their own sack lunch for those days.

Our 8th grade youth and their parents also attend several separate afternoon retreats in order to prepare them to affirm their baptism in the fall of their 9th grade year and to commit to living lives of faith as they grow and mature.
