  • Bible Studies

    Wednesday weekly Bible study meets at 11 am at GPS. Currently we are studying the gospel of Luke. 

    GPS Women of Grace monthly Bible study meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.

  • Breakfast Club

    For anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. We gather to enjoy fellowship, understanding, prayer, and a meal on the second Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. at Sophia's Restaurant, 5467 Bridge St, Roscoe, IL. Order off the menu.   • Card Nights

    We gather twice per month on a the first and third Fridays at 6:30 pm to enjoy fellowship, laughter, snacks and to play a variety of card games. Open to all adults. Contact us for a schedule of meetings or for more information. 

  • Faithful Readers Book Club

    Open to all adults. We meet every 4 - 6 weeks on a Thursday evening at 7 pm to discuss books of interest to all, including novels, biographies, and more. Contact us for a schedule of meetings or for more information.

  • Fellowship Fun Outings

    Throughout the year our Fellowship Planning Team sponsors outings for all ages. From theater trips to sporting events to bowling and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Check our calendar of events for upcoming activity details or contact us for a schedule or more information. 

  • Girls' Night Out

    Open to all women, ages 18 and older. We meet once per month for fun and fellowship at a local restaurant. Order off the menu.  Contact us for a schedule of meetings or for more information. 

  • Got Yarn?

    We meet every other Wednesday from 1 - 3 pm to work on knitting or crochet projects for your own use or to donate to those in need. Want to learn to knit? We'll teach you! Contact us for a  schedule of meeting times or for more information.

  • Rainbow Connection

    Open to all LGBTQI people of faith and their allies. Join us for friendship, fun and food! Contact us for a schedule of activities or for more information. 

  • Retreats for Men or Women

    We hold once-yearly overnight retreats for men where we enjoy fellowship, Bible study, fun and games, and great food. This is a great chance to spend time getting to know other men of God. Contact us for the next Men's Retreat details.

  • Senior Center

    Tuesdays from 10 am to 2 pm at GPS

           

    Join area seniors (and near-seniors) once a week at GPS for conversation, cards, games, snacks, and fellowship. We take day trips on occasion, periodically bring in speakers on topics of interest to seniors and have even been known to line dance!  Enjoy free coffee and snacks. We provide lunch for $5 or bring your own. No advance registration needed - just show up.

  • Small Groups

    Beer and Bible: We meet once per month on a Thursday, from 6 - 8 pm at Lucha Cantina Restaurant, 1641 N. Alpine Road in Rockford, IL. Join us for a video study and conversation. Order off the menu. 


    Peacemakers: We gather monthly in our members' homes to enjoy friendship, Bible study, and service projects.

  • Softball Team

    GPS' co-ed, slow pitch softball team plays in a league with other area churches. The season runs April to August and games are played on Tuesday nights. We're not professionals, we're just in it to have fun. Cost to play is $35 for the season, which includes a t-shirt and an end of season cookout. Contact us for more information.
